Once the installation has completed, click Finish on the InstallShield Wizard to end the installation process and launch IBM SPSS Statistics. This process takes approximately 2-5 minutes. On the Ready to Install the Program screen, click Install. On the Destination Folder screen, click Next to install the software to its default location. Choose I accept the terms in the license agreement and then click Next. A second license agreement will appear. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and then click Next to continue with the installation. The following license agreement screen will appear. On the IBM SPSS Statistics – Essentials for Python screen, under Install IBM SPSS Statistics – Essentials for Python, select Yes and then click Next. On the Software License Agreement screen, read the terms and choose I accept the terms in the license agreement, then click Next. On the IBM SPSS Statistics – InstallShield Wizard screen, click Next. Install the IBM SPSS Statistics file you downloaded from /spss. If successful, the installer should report Successfully processed all codes. 
Enter the authorization code you received from Information Technology, then click Next.ĥ. On the Product Authorization window, select the button next to License my product now. The wizard should display the License Status window, which shows the authorization status for all detected SPSS components.
You should see an application called License Authorization Wizard. Inside that folder should be a folder called SPSS 24 (depending on your specific version). In your Applications folder, you should see either an IBM folder or an SPSS folder. The License Authorization Wizard should then launch. (If you do not have a Windows user account with full Administrator rights, please make an appointment and take the device to the IT Help Desk in Butler Library 103) Log in to a Windows user account with full Administrator access rights. 
Right-click the License Authorization Wizard icon, and select Run As Administrator. In that folder, you will see a program called either SPSS License Authorization Wizard or IBM SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard. In your list of programs, you will see a folder called either SPSS or IBM SPSS Statistics. In the Start menu, select All Programs.
